Skill Development Project is implemented by Ministry of Education/CTEVT aimed to increase employability of the Nepalese workforce. The projects expected outcome is that skills development provision in Nepal will be expanded and will attain higher standards of quality, equity, and market responsiveness. The project aims to provide skill training to 45000 unemployed youth through private and public sector training provider

Under this assignment, TCN carried out skill training to 2800 youths of 24 districts all over Nepal. The training was given in 6 subjects namely Junior Welder, Junior Auto Mechanics, Boiler Operator, Aluminium Fabricator, Mechanical Fitter and Lathe Setter Operator. Carrying out of pre training, during training and post training activities was TCN’s responsibility under this contract.
